VENUE & PARKING

The venue is Netball Central at Sydney Olympic Park. Full address is: 2 Olympic Blvd, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127.

The closest car park is P3. Please allow sufficient time for parking and walking to the meeting point.

MEETING POINT

Spectator entry to Netball Central is via the ramp to the Quay Centre. At the top of the ramp you veer left to the Netball Centre entrance.

We will meet all girls at the bottom of the ramp to the right, towards the traffic lights. If you're not familiar with the venue, google maps is your friend - refer to image below! There will be lots of clubs meeting at the same place, we will have our banner.

The girls will enter the venue with their teachers and will remain 'backstage' with Miss Janelle, Miss Sam, and Miss Bailee until the conclusion of their age group session. Kerri (from our ladies class, Board Member, and all round superstar) will be assisting Miss Abby with meeting girls and parents.

ARRIVAL & START TIMES

• 5-6 yrs -  Arrive at 8:15am. This is 15 minutes earlier than advised as the girls are competing first. Competition starts at 9:30am 
• 7-8 yrs - Arrive at 10:30am. Competition starts at 11:30am 
• 9-10 yrs - Arrive at 12:30pm. Competition starts at 1:30pm
• 11-12 yrs - Arrive at 2:30pm. Competition starts at 3:30pm

Please note our teams have drawn 1st or 2nd on the floor in all sections. To ensure our girls get their practice run backstage we need to be backstage no later than 20 minutes after we arrive and meet. Please be at the meeting point at your designated arrival time and if there any issues in the morning please contact us via your WhatsApp Group. We will be able monitor this channel as a collective teaching team rather than individual messages or calls. If the issue is urgent and private please contact Miss Janelle or Miss Sam direct. There are no options to wait for teams. If we are late or not ready we miss our turn on the floor. 

DEPARTURE

Girls are not permitted to leave until all Clubs have competed and the presentations have taken place for their age group.

Girls will be returned to their parents at the meeting point.

WHAT TO WEAR

• Arrive wearing black team leotard with hair done as per dress rehearsal.  
• Teachers will attach bows / head pieces and each girl will be given an individual lipstick.
• Wear Club uniform, singlets, jackets etc. If you don't have club uniform please wear black shorts / tights and black t-shirt - no denim, skirts, dresses etc. Girls need to be able to warm up properly.
• Please make sure all clothing is labelled with a name.
• Wear enclosed shoes to and from the venue - no thongs or dressy shoes; girls may need to move quickly!
• Remove all jewellery, including earrings and no polish to be worn on fingers or toes. If earrings cannot be removed, they must be covered witha band-aid

WHAT TO BRING

• A water bottle labelled with your name
• Light nutritious food – must be nut-free. For girls competing in two teams, please ensure you have sufficient to sustain you between sessions.
• Only SMALL, lightweight bags as the girls will be required to carry their bag everywhere they go

SPECTATORS

This is a FREE event with unallocated seating.  The venue capacity is 800, allow sufficient time to queue and obtain your seat. The holding of seats will not be permitted by venue staff. Audience will enter and exit via the foyer on the top level (café level). The venue will be cleared between the 7/8 years and 9/10 years sessions. Spectators will need to take everything with them.

COMPETITION SQUARES

There will be up to four teams competing at the same time so it is important you check the map on entry to confirm which square your daughter's team is competing on to know where to sit. At this stage the draw is as below. This is subject to change on the day and we will keep you updated via the WhatsApp Groups. We will advise on the morning which 7/8 year team will perform in section 1 and which team will perform in section 2.

• 5/6 Years - Section 1 - Square A - 1st on the floor out of 7 teams (1/7)
• 7/8 Years - Section 1 - Square A - 6th on the floor out of 8 teams (6/8)
• 7/8 Years - Section 2 - Square B - 1st on the floor out of 8 teams (1/8)
• 9/10 Years - Section 1 - Square A - 2nd on the floor out of 7 teams (2/7) 
• 11/12 Years - Section 3 - Square C - 1st on the floor out of 6 teams (1/6)

Winners of each section will compete again in the play-off for the overall winner of that age group.
